WELCOME
Welcome to my Blog. Here I will be free - I will write what I like and when I like. I hope any reader will also feel free to read, understand, remember or learn from my jottings. I hope you will comment and support my freedom!!

ESCAPE
I've been thinking a lot about the word "escape" lately. Had a dream about running from a tsumani last week - we escaped!!. I think I have retired so I guess I have "escaped" from the workforce?? Some of my family are "escaping" from relationships. The word escape covers a lot of things - getting away from, avoiding, being forgotten by, a distraction or a relief, to leak gradually (?) or avoiding injury of harm. It really covers a lot of life doesn't it?

This very first Blog attempt of mine is an ESCAPE. After a while I will - or you might (?) - work out what meaning to apply to this type of escape!

Gemma Ann,

You have made one huge omission on your profile - you said you were a "daughter, wife, mother and grandmother" - you are also a sister - one that is loved and treasured!!!

You are spot on with escaping. I think I ran away to the USA to escape - not sure what from, but it was nice to be footloose and fancy free.

Being distant from the usual issues that arise from work, family etc allowed Murray and I to just be together and do things that we enjoyed - travel and see new horizons, he loved to fish and watch CSI, I loved to watch CSI with him and bead while he fished!

I can highly recommend it...

Well done Mum,
I'm looking forward to escaping with my family to Canberra to catch up with you !
I'm escaping the City life in Adelaide for a few months to work out in the desert. This is part of our master plan to escape the financial restrictions that keep us doing what we do.
The kids have escaped from school for a couple of weeks and have locked Jess up. She is enjoying this.....
Tom is looking forward to Cricket season and both he and Grace have elected Jess as the summer Netball coach which will keep everyone busy. Noah and William are both doing well but miss their Grand-Ma. We all enjoyed having Dad escape his Day to Day to come and mentor us and look forward to seeing both of you as soon as possible.
Life is Good, escape or embrace !!
Miss u
